Author Guidelines

Peer review

The journal Trends in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (TAES) adopts a double-blind evaluation method. This means that the authors and reviewers are known to the editor. Therefore, authors must ensure that no information that allows their identification is in the files sent.

Indication of reviewers

We suggest that authors, when submitting the article, indicate at least 3 (three) reviewers with knowledge in the area of the research submitted. These potential reviewers cannot have conflicts of interest with any of the authors.

Template

To download our template in MS Word, access this link TEMPLATE (updated 9/17/2023). In the template, the rules for references, citations and formatting are duly explained.

Attention: Note the template update date, as changes can be made. Always use the most up-to-date template.

General conditions

Before submitting, ensure that all the conditions above have been met.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word format (see below about the template).
  • The text was typed using the Template provided by TAES according to outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • All images and graphics are in a quality (at least 150 dpi) suitable for viewing all the data they contain.
  • Any and all mention of the authors' names were removed from the submitted files, ensuring that they are not identified.

Articles Section

The texts submitted to the articles section can be unpublished research texts with partial or complete results, or review texts.

This section is a space for disseminating scientific databases, obtained under pre-established criteria.

Attention: database article submission is only in English, to provide greater visibility to the database.
